To be held at the Hotel Inter-Continental Miami, the Seminar will open on April 18 with registration and a reception, and conclude with a half-day session on April 21. CBP notes that discussions will focus on “new C-TPAT security criteria, validation process, risk assessment, benefits, how to identify anomalies in the global supply chain, best practices, global terrorism threats and contraband smuggling trends and concealment methods.”
While there is no fee, registration will be conducted on-line beginning on February 14, on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendance will be limited to a maximum of two people from each C-TPAT certified company – those who have already received letters from CBP welcoming them into the program.
