The move has been planned for nearly a year as Estes seeks to expand its offerings in the global arena. Scott Fisher, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Estes Air Forwarding, says, “our vision is to be a leader in the industry by offering flexible, customized transport and product rollout options that serve customers no matter where or how they need to ship.”

As it explains, through its relationship with Estes Express Lines, the new company will be offering special time-definite services that include flatbed, home delivery, air charter, crane-assisted and temperature-controlled transportation. Around the clock tracking, monitoring and reporting of shipment status is part of the Estes Air Forwarding package, as well.

There will be strong emphasis on meeting ever more strict US Transportation Security Administration regulations, according to Steven Mulloy, vice president of Operations for Estes Air Forwarding. “It is all part of our vision to become a global player meeting the needs of our customers better than any of our competitors, large or small.”
