UH has hired new faculty and expanded the curriculum in its College of Technology which has strong and broad collaborative relationships with the business community. The move is in response to UH’s perception of a high demand for graduates in logistics and supply chain management.

“What makes UH’s program different from most others across the country,” says Robert Speaker, assistant professor in the Department of Industrial Technology, “is that our department is already strong in logistics and information technology. We have successfully tapped into the synergies that naturally exist between the two and will continue to do so.” Learn more about Houston’s efforts on the Web at www.tech.uh.edu/itec.
