Net revenues at third-party logistics providers (3PLs) rose 6.1% in 2003 to $32.9 billion, according to Armstrong & Associates Inc. This follows a 7% rise the prior year. Net income increased 3.9% during the year.

C.H. Robinson reported increased net revenue was up 12.6% to $545 million.

Among mid-sized warehouse/distribution operations, Kenco, Genco and DSC all had revenue growth exceeding 10%.

Of the 35 companies Armstrong & Associates tracks, 89% had increases in net revenues for fiscal year 2003.
