Continuing its tradition of joining with NASSTRAC (the National Shippers Strategic Transportation Council, www.nasstrac.org) in honoring its Member of the Year and Associate Member of the Year, Logistics Today commissioned and presented oil portraits of the winners at the Association's National Convention in Orlando.
Presented the awards were Member of the Year Brian Damiani, vice president of Logistics at Simplified Logistics, LLC (Warrington, Pa., www.simplifiedlogistics.com). He chairs NASSTRAC's Professional Interaction Committee. The Associate Member of the Year is Rob Puleo of Roadway Express (Akron, Ohio, www.roadway.com).
NASSTRAC has been providing education and advocacy for shippers and carriers since 1952. It offers conference, seminars, and online webinars; it takes positions on regulatory issues impacting shippers and related transportation issues; and it publishes articles, case studies and white papers in the Association's Resource Library.
