Old Dominion Improves Canada Gateway Flow

Nov. 9, 2009
Old Dominion Freight Line Inc. improved service through its Northwest gateway into Canada, said the company

“We are pleased to offer improved service from the western US to Edmonton and Calgary, Canada,” said Chuck Powell, vice president of the Pacific Northwest Region for Old Dominion Freight Lines. “By utilizing our Northwest gateway, we can reduce border crossing times for our customers.”

The service will reduce border crossing times by providing a single gateway into Alberta, Canada, through Old Dominion’s Great Falls, MT location.

Over 65 Old Dominion service centers will be connected with this gateway, making shipping into these Canadian locations much smoother and easier, said Powell.
