1700 Series

July 18, 2005
WILMINGTON, N.C., Interroll Corporation announced its popular 1700 Series conveyor rollers are now available in select metric sizes in the United States.

WILMINGTON, N.C., Interroll Corporation announced its popular 1700 Series conveyor rollers are now available in select metric sizes in the United States. The standardized, modular, cost-effective rollers can now be ordered anywhere in the world in the appropriate size, a move Interroll is making to better serve its global customer base.

“The 1700 Series is such a popular product that we found more and more of our customers were challenged when they tried to replace the rollers in machines made in Europe that were installed in their U.S. plants,” said Kim Hagan, Product Manager at Interroll. “Making the 1700 Series available in metric sizes in the United States is just one more way for us to offer truly global service.”

The 1700 Series, which is available in varying lengths, is a universal conveyor roller suitable for almost all applications. The shock-absorbing, noise-reducing plastic housing can have a load capacity up to 360 pounds, depending on materials and sizes, and when produced with precision bearings can handle speeds up to 400 feet per minute.

The tube is offered in galvanized, mill finish, PVC and stainless steel options, and commercial, precision and stainless steel bearings are available.

The shaft is available in a variety of materials and configurations, including the patented Taperhex shaft. The Taperhex shaft is designed to be self-adjusting and is ideal for replacement purposes.
