HYSTER COMPANY OFFERS AC-POWER E45-65Z SERIES

(Greenville, N.C. – Americas Division Headquarters) — Hyster Company has created a new standard for materials handling with the launch of its AC-power E45-65Z series of lift trucks. Hyster® AC technology provides superior torque, speed capabilities, reliability and thermal performance throughout the entire usable discharge cycle. The simple brushless design of the Hyster AC traction motor eliminates the need to service brushes, brush springs and motor commutators, making periodic maintenance on these items a thing of the past. This translates to lower cost, higher reliability and longer life.

The optional brushless AC hoist motor has all the same reliability and no-maintenance features as the brushless AC traction motor. The Hyster brushless power steer motor provides on-demand steering for low noise and energy consumption, allowing Hyster Company to provide customers with a 100 percent brushless truck if ordered with the transistor controlled AC hydraulic motor option. The E45-65Z series works harder, longer and smarter than any other AC-power lift truck, positioning it as the most durable lift truck in its class.

Onboard truck setting adjustments can be used to meet customer requirements to take advantage of enhanced levels of performance. Hyster trucks outperform other manufacturers’ conventionally equipped DC and AC products in many cases. The standard “Extended Shift” Hyster AC controller setting provides the optimum balance between performance needs and battery shift life. When the “Extended Shift” setting is turned off, a significant increase in loaded travel speeds and acceleration rates is possible.

The E45-65Z series has a capacity of 4,500 to 6,500 pounds and features the unique Hyster® ergonomic design. Soft-touch levers are placed within the operator’s natural reach, minimizing fatigue and maximizing productivity, and both the standard non-suspension seat and the optional semi-suspension seat are easily adjusted to provide a more comfortable ride. Powered by a standard 36-volt or optional (no cost) 48-volt electrical system, this series is ideal for warehouse, retail or industrial applications and is tough enough to take on just about anything.
