AIM Searches for New President, Plans Inaugural AIM Expo

Dec. 11, 2009
The Association for Automatic Identification and Mobility (AIM) is on the lookout for a new president to lead the association’s initiatives, including the first-ever AIM Expo.

"The AIM board and staff wish to express our appreciation to Dan Mullen for his long and loyal service to AIM and wish him success as he pursues other interests," says Dr. Clive Hohberger, chairman of the AIM board of directors.

In the interim, Mary Lou Bosco, chief operating officer, will serve as acting executive director of AIM until a new president takes office.

"Looking ahead, the AIM Board will seek a vision-oriented individual with strong leadership experience and knowledge of the AIDC industry to enable the association to grow and to ensure the success of the launch of the AIM Expo 2010," says Hohberger.

Set for Nov. 1-3 in Chicago, the inaugural AIM Expo 2010 will bring together manufacturers, distributors, system integrators, solution providers, resellers and end users involved in auto ID and mobile IT.

AIM is currently seeking presentations for the show. Deadline for submissions is Jan. 5.

AIM will post job requirements and application instructions for the new president on its Web site by mid-December.
