OAK BROOK, Ill. and WOBURN, Mass—The University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC) has signed a three-year agreement with Safecor Health for barcoded pharmaceutical repackaging services.
Under the contract, Safecor Health will provide UHC medical centers unit-dose, barcoded repackaging services geared toward each hospital’s unique dosing needs and barcode requirements.
Barcoded pharmaceuticals in ready-to-administer doses allow for barcode scanning of medications at patients’ bedsides.
