The COPAR PASS system provides radio frequency alerts to lift truck drivers when there is a pedestrian nearby. Rechargeable, hand-held sender modules are carried by the pedestrian. Each truck has a front and rear facing warning display that lights when a pedestrian signal is received. Easy operation and safety cross-checks have made the PASS system useful in paper mills and the paper converting industry. This technology can also be implemented in logistic warehouses.
