DALLAS, - Exel, a global leader in supply chain management, announced that it was awarded a three-year US$4 million logistics contract with Sears Logistics Services, Inc., (SLS) a wholly owned subsidiary of Sears, Roebuck and Co. (Sears).
The contract calls for Exel to provide on-time distribution of repair items to a network of nine Sears locations across the country. Exel will pick up repairable items from product service, retail, dealer and hardware stores and deliver them to central repair centers and return the repaired products to their original stores.
