Cargo tracking devices manufactured and designed by Bulldog Technologies Inc. (Richmond, British Columbia) recently tracked a $250,000 shipment of designer clothing into a known fencing ring. New Jersey State Police arrested the thieves and recovered the garments and a substantial amount of cash.
The company’s cellular-based, AGPS asset recovery device works in conjunction with web-based software that allows users to track shipments using a standard PC. The technology relies on both cellular tower triangulation and GPS satellite location to pinpoint the location of transportable materials throughout the United States.
