Designed to be a direct replacement for a lift truck’s incandescent or halogen bulb, the 900-lumen LED lamp snaps into a standard PAR 36 housing and has two terminals that accommodate either a screw or FastOn cable connection.
According to Grote, the life span of the incandescent bulbs typically used in PAR 36 work lamps is only 25 to 500 hours, while the Trilliant conversion bulb has a service life of 40,000 hours. The Trilliant also uses half the power of an incandescent bulb, says the company. Grote says that, over its service life, the cost of the bulb is one-eighth the cost of an incandescent bulb.
The bulb is offered in both wide-flood beam and TractorPlus beam patterns. It comes with a mounting bracket and replaceable polycarbonate lenses. Users can replace the lenses to convert from one beam pattern to another.
