Motion Industries (Birmingham, Ala.), a distributor of industrial maintenance, repair, and operation replacement parts, was presented with a "People Make Quality Happen" award by General Motors Spring Hill Manufacturing facility.
The award is in recognition of Motion Industries' participation in cost-cutting efforts for the fiscal year 2004. As part of a select group of GM's Spring Hill Indirect Material vendors, the Motion Industries branch in Columbia, Tennessee was treated to a luncheon provided by GM's Indirect Material Purchasing Team.
