FKI Logistex Automates One of Denmark's Largest Libraries

Odense Central Library (Denmark) has contracted FKI Logistex (Aarhus, Denmark), to install an automated item handling and sorting system. The system will allow the library to reduce waiting lines and manual item handling by streamlining and extending its self-service and automated sortation capabilities. One of Denmark's largest public libraries, the Odense Central Library operates nine city-based branches and one mobile unit. The new technology replaces existing security gates and automates 90% of all lending and returning activities.
