    Commerce Department to Host Export Pavilion

    ARLINGTON, Va.—The U.S. Department of Commerce’s Commercial Service will host the U.S. Export Pavilion at Pack Expo International 2008, slated for Nov. 9-13 in Chicago.

    The Export Pavilion (South Hall, Booth 4258) has been an important feature of the annual event since 2004.

    Export sales of packaging machinery grew 17.8% in 2007 to $1.159 billion, representing the sixth year in a row that packaging machinery exports have grown and eclipsing the $1 billion mark, according to PMMI’s 2008 Shipments and Outlook Study.
