OAK BROOK, Ill.—The Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC) is offering five new seminars in February and March.
Set for Feb. 13-15 in Atlanta, “Achieving Warehouse Success: A Guide to Managing an Effective Operation,” will provide tips to supervisors or managers in warehouse settings. This seminar will help managers understand ways to make the most of all three of their basic resources: space, equipment and labor.
“Maximizing Warehouse Space: The Key to Productivity,” will take place Feb. 18-19 in Phoenix and offer key rules of thumb to help maximize warehouse space while improving productivity.
Also in Phoenix, “Using Metrics to Achieve Results,” will take place Feb. 20-21. This seminar will describe how facility measurements can actually be used to help boost performance.
In Chicago, from Mar. 10-11, “Lean Warehousing Essentials” will teach attendees lean fundamentals and offer ways to apply them to warehouse settings.
And, finally, from Mar. 17-18 in Atlanta, “Benchmark NOW!” will show session goers how to analyze company performance using two benchmarking sources.
