It features two storage retrieval machines (SRM) functioning in the same aisle. The SRMs work side by side and move past each other without interference to perform storage and retrieval operations. A Duosys is laid out in two levels (with two SRMs operating within each level) so that four SRMs operate simultaneously on the same rack to produce a maximum throughput of up to 2,200 cases per hour. Throughput will vary depending upon system configuration to meet specific customer requirements. Each SRM has a maximum horizontal speed of 300m/min and a maximum vertical speed of 40 m/min.
