Datalogic, EMS Merger Complete

HEBRON, Ky.—Datalogic Automation Inc., a manufacturer of barcode readers, mobile computers and RFID systems, has officially merged Escort Memory Systems (EMS) into its Hebron, Ky., offices. EMS had been located in Scotts Valley, Calif.

Datalogic Automation said the merger allows it to market and sell fixed-position barcode readers and industrial RFID technologies.

EMS will function as a brand within Datalogic’s RFID product line.
