Niemeyer Named MHIA Director, Membership

Ray Niemeyer has been appointed director of membership for the Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA). In his new role, Niemeyer will lead MHIA’s efforts to improve value to association members.

Niemeyer joined MHIA in May 2005 as director of knowledge management after serving many years in business development roles at MHIA member companies.

Niemeyer is managing executive of the Lift Manufacturers Product Section (LMPS), the Ergonomic Assist Systems and Equipment Council (EASE), the Loading Dock Equipment Manufacturers (LODEM), the Reusable Plastic Container and Pallet Association (RPCPA) and secretary for MH1 Pallets, Slip Sheets, and Other Bases for Unit Loads Standard.
