Shuttle Pallet for Storage Density

Automatic Material Handling (AUTOMHA), an Italy-based company, is introducing the AUTOSAT Shuttle pallet carrier to the North American market. It is designed to enable high storage density in a warehouse. Operated by remote control with a range up to 492 feet, the shuttle machine collects, stores, and arranges pallets in their proper storage channels. The manufacturer claims storage density can be increased by 20% over drive-in racking. Forklift operators can control up to four pallet shuttles at a time. Seven models suit different sizes and weights of pallets with a maximum capacity of 3,300 lbs. This satellite-based machine adjusts to various pallets, so different pallet depths can be moved within a single channel.
