Manhattan Associates Adds IBM Virtualization Capability

Manhattan Associates’ warehouse management and transportation, planning and execution (TP&E) systems are now compatible with the IBM AIX 6.1 operating system featuring PowerVM virtualization.

Virtualization technology, such as IBM’s PowerVM, allows organizations to consolidate multiple operating systems and software stacks on a single platform and allocate that platform to meet business and application requirements in a more dynamic fashion, according to Manhattan Associates.
