4PL Plus allows remote, partner and 4PL warehouses to manage multiple customers’ inventory in a real-time environment, the company says. The Web-based module supports general warehousing functions, including shipping, receiving, reporting and billing management. 3PL Central says customers can configure the Web-based technology in one day.
Specific functions for 4PL warehousing partners include real-time access to a 3PL’s system and the ability to ship, receive and run reports for select customers. The software-as-a-service (SaaS) technology also allows EDI integration, small parcel shipping and Web-based UCC-128 label printing.
The on-demand software allows 3PLs to manage inventory and billing for multiple customers, whether the 3PL owns its own warehouse or works with warehouse partners (4PLs), according to 3PL Central.
