PR620SPS features greater radius and beam strength than other belts; valuable accessories add application flexibility.

KVP has introduced the PR620SPS, a versatile plastic spiral belt for conveying a wide range of small products. It offers radius strength over 1.5 times greater than conventional spiral belts, even at narrower widths. For instance, the PR620SPS has 570 lbs of radius strength in widths from 12” to 60” (with a two-to-one safety factor), compared with just 375 lbs for the closest competitor. In straight AC configurations, belt strength rises to 1,500 lbs/foot (with a two-to-one safety factor) and in wider versions, the PR620SPS gets even stronger. Likewise, the PR620SPS offers a thicker beam (.188”), enabling a design with more ridges and wider rail spacing. A number of useful accessories make the PR620SPS more versatile than other spiral belts. These include: patented radius plugs in five sizes; easy-to-snap-in side guards that can be installed in two places on the outside edge and an additional place on the inside edge; as well as lane dividers in three heights that can be installed anywhere in the center portion of the belt.
The PR620SPS is available with a 2” pitch, in 12” minimum widths, a 54” maximum width (@1.6), in width increments of .5”, with an opening size of .38” by .56” on the inside and .5” by .67” on the outside, and a 57% open area in straight configurations. Rod size is .250”. KVP is a Reading, PA, USA-based manufacturer of industry’s broadest range of radius, straight-running, and spiral modular plastic conveyor belting. These conveying products are sold under the KVP, Falcon, and RAM brands and they offer solutions for product processing, cooling, freezing, accumulation, and transport applications primarily in the food and beverage industries. In addition to plastic conveyor belting, KVP makes a full line of competitively-priced plastic and steel conveying chains including flat-top, snap-on, case conveyor, multi-flex and plastic roller chain styles. In 1993, KVP Systems was acquired by Summa Industries (NasdaqNM:SUMX), a leading manufacturer of proprietary plastic products. Under the Summa Industries ownership, KVP Systems initiated an aggressive growth plan by hiring key belting industry executives, increasing its direct sales force, and launching a targeted acquisition program.Click HERE to get a FREE KVP Case Study: The Poultry Industry
