Clark DC Receives Governor’s Safety Award

Clark Material Handling Co.’s aftermarket lift truck parts distribution center (DC) in Louisville, Ky., has earned the Governor’s Safety & Health Award for the fourth year in a row.

Secretary J.R. Gray from the Kentucky Labor Cabinet was on site April 8 to present the award to Clark’s distribution managers and employees. The award recognizes the 166,000-square foot DC for operating more than 2,709 days without a lost-time accident.

“We are proud of the employees in this facility who create a culture of safety in their workplace every day,” says Dennis Lawrence, president and CEO. “We are honored to achieve this award.”
