A new wireless crane scale which features a remote control that employs Bluetooth technology to let operators position themselves safely away from large, heavy loads such as steel plate and I-beams is being introduced by Alliance Scale, Inc. of Canton, Massachusetts.

The Alliance/CAS Caston-IIIBT Crane Scale has a rugged, environmentally sealed NEMA 4 IP65 alodined cast aluminum housing and is equipped with a bright, 6-digit 1.5” LED display. Featuring a Bluetooth remote control that operates up to 350 ft., operators can stay a safe distance from heavy loads and display weight results to within ±0.1% accuracy of the applied load.

Offered in capacities ranging from 10,000 x 5 lbs. up to 100,000 x 20 lbs., the Alliance/CAS Caston-IIIBT Crane Scale provides an ultimate 300% over-load factor of rated capacity. Standard features include a rechargeable battery pack, spare battery pack and charger; manual or automatic on, off, zero, tare and hold functions, auto span adjustment, and auto zero tracking.
