Chairman of the Board of Management Leaves Jungheinrich AG

Dr. Cletus von Pichler, cChairman of the board of management of Jungheinrich AG (Hamburg, Germanhy) left the company by mutual consent as of October 31, 2006. The Supervisory Board has appointed Mr. Wolfgang Kiel chairman of the board of management effective November 1, 2006, until the position is staffed definitively. Mr. Kiel was responsible for sales at Jungheinrich for 30 years. From 1990 to 1995, he was a member of the Board of Management and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Management, after which he joined the Supervisory Board of Jungheinrich AG. Mr. Kiel's Supervisory Board mandate will be suspended for the duration of his activity as Chairman of the Board of Management.
