SORL Auto Parts, Inc. (Zhejiang, China) opened the company’s first U.S. distribution center in Los Angeles. The facility will support expansion and increased exports to North America, adding to company centers in Australia and the United Arab Emirates.
SORL Auto Parts, Inc. manufactures and distributes automotive air brake valves and hydraulic brake valves for the commercial vehicle market for vehicles weighting more than three tons. The company’s export sales accounted for nearly one third of its total sales ($9.4 million) for the first half of 2005, a 91 percent increase from $4.9 million for the first half of 2004.
"Having a distribution center in the United States will increase our ability to reach the U.S. market more efficiently and effectively as we expand our international operations," said Xiaoping Zhang, SORL chairman and CEO.
