IFCO Systems recently signed an agreement with Del Monte Fresh Produce Co., a producer and marketer of fresh and fresh-cut produce. IFCO was selected because of its ability to offer consistent services to multiple facilities across the U.S. IFCO provides Del Monte one-stop convenience for all its pallet needs and will supply pallets to six Del Monte fresh produce facilities in six states across the U.S.
All pallet activity will be recorded and available to Del Monte via IFCO’s PalTrax System. Pallet activity can be viewed at any time via this online system allowing Del Monte and IFCO to better manage pallet activity. Del Monte can also place all orders electronically with IFCO.
Fresh Del Monte’s primary products include bananas, pineapple, melons, specialty melons, tomatoes, potatoes, strawberries, onions, grapes, citrus, apples, pears, peaches, plums and plantains.
