President and general manager Chris Heim announced his retirement from HighJump Software, Minneapolis. He had been with the company since 1985 and led the organization for the past nine years. The company was acquired by 3M in 2004 and recently completed the acquisition of Pinnacle Distribution Concepts.

Joe Blauert, an eight-year veteran of HighJump Software, has been named COO and will lead the company. Heim will retain the title of President through a transition period. Blauert was most recently HighJump’s chief financial officer, and before that was general manager of the company’s data collection and manufacturing business.
