Cleveland-based Kinetic Technologies, Inc., manufacturer of material handling systems for Forklift Free applications, has released an industrial cart design that improves handling of large 48” x 48”, 2,000 lb. maximum loads. Modified Pivot Point (MPPTM) caster steering permits the cart, when towed, to negotiate tighter corners than standard caster steering and allows easier manual maneuvering. The cart is designed with a shortened wheelbase using 4 wheels “down” (on the ground) and 2 wheels “up” (slightly off the ground).
Standard features include built-in “under the frame” lift pocket (accepts standard pneumatic or hydraulic lifts), 3600 rotational deck, low floor to deck height, self-stowing towbar, low profile auto-hitch, low push / pull force premium wheel system, sealed bearings, auto-upper frame lock. Smaller model available for maximum 38” x 38” containers.
