The 4,250 TEU container ship Kingston made its initial call at Port Everglades. The CMA CGM ship is operated in partnership with PEXS, a vessel share agreement with CSCL and P&O Nedlloyd. Its full inbound rotation is Pusan - Shanghai - Xiamen - Yantian - Hong Kong - Manzanillo - Port Everglades - Savannah - New York - Virginia.

Port Everglades, which is a self-supporting Enterprise Fund of Broward County, FL, is the 12th busiest container port in the U.S. and handled 1,880 container ships during fiscal 2003, generating 569,743 TEUs and 3,633,610 tons of containerized cargo.
