Automated Packaging Systems introduces the Autobag PaceSetter PS 125 OneStep bagger for small to medium sized pick and pack fulfillment operations where verification of contents is critical. The system includes an inline printer, bar code scanner, and user-friendly control screen. The screen allows operators to monitor all database and printing functions in real time. Built-in alarms will pause packaging anytime bar code scans and database fields don’t match, thus preventing packaging errors.

The Quanta custom engineered shipping solution provides hardware and software that is fully integrated with a customer database to increase productivity in high volume mail order fulfillment operations. This system automatically scans the product to be shipped and correlates the customer data for printing a packing slip and return label. The shipping bag is automatically printed inline and a bar code scanner verifies the proper contents as the product is inserted into the bag. Then, the system automatically flattens the bag, seals it, and discharges it ready for shipping. This type of customized solution can process up to 10 orders per minute and significantly improves productivity, while eliminating the risk of manual errors.
