Raymond Lift Truck to Appear on Science Channel

July 16, 2009
GREENE, N.Y.—On July 17, the “How It’s Made” television show on the Science Channel will explore how a Raymond Reach-Fork truck is made.

Producers visited Raymond’s Brantford, Ontario, manufacturing facility in August 2008 to film the manufacturing process for the company’s Reach-Fork truck. The team spent approximately nine hours capturing the process, from the bending of the sheet metal to assembling the electronics to wrapping the completed truck for shipping.

The Reach-Fork truck includes Raymond’s ACR system, as well as the capability to use hydrogen fuel-cell technology.
