Steel King Industries, Inc. (Stevens Point, Wis., announced Riekes Material Handling (Waukee, Iowa) as Steel King’s Most Valuable Distributor (MVD) in 2005. The Steel King management team formally announced the recipient at the North American Material Handling Show in Cleveland.
To achieve MVD, Riekes Material Handling excelled in total and relative sales volume, completing 154 orders comprised of 16 different Steel King products. Overall, Riekes reported the largest dollar increase in 2005 among all Steel King dealers, increasing sales volume by 249%.
“Riekes earned the award through their aggressive sales program,” Steel King president, Jay Anderson said. “Riekes has been a loyal customer since the mid 1970s. Our long-term relationship indicates a joint commitment to quality and customer service. We are pleased to award Steel King’s Most Valuable Distributor designation to Riekes.”
