SeayCo Integrators, Inc. (Conyers, Ga.), a provider of software and controls for Conveyco Technologies’s (Bristol, Conn.) automated conveyor systems, successfully commissioned its fourth wave-control system for McLane Company at its Rocky Mount, N.C. facility.

SeayCo’s Load-IT software maximizes the efficiency and accuracy of warehouse picking and shipping processes. Its advanced dynamic wave building is parameter driven for the greatest user flexibility. Select-IT is SeayCo’s proprietary pick-to-light system. An efficient state-of-the-art system, Select-IT has been implemented at three different McLane sites and will soon go live in two more facilities. Select-IT offers users access to a wealth of statistical information as well as a dramatic increase in accuracy and productivity

The recent deployment in Rocky Mount is one of several scheduled for McLane to upgrade its sortation systems using Load-IT and Select-IT software systems. Cortney Hunt, director of logistics for the McLane Company, says, “I am pleased with the operation of the new system. I believe it will enhance our ability to provide great service to our customers.”

SeayCo has previously commissioned three new systems, in collaboration with Conveyco, in McLane’s Lubbock, Texas (High Plains), Brookhaven, Miss. (Southern), and Danville, Ill. (Midwest) facilities.
