HK Systems (Milwaukee), a provider of logistics management and RFID solutions, announced the successful startup of a radio frequency identification (RFID) tagging system for Epson America, a provider of imaging solutions based in Long Beach, Calif. HK Systems deployed an integrated RFID tagging solution at Epson’s Indianapolis, Indiana, distribution center. Epson is shipping cases and pallets of its product with electronic product code (EPC) labels to comply with retailer mandates. Comprised of standard RFID software, material handling and RFID peripherals, the solution utilizes components of the OAT Systems Foundation 4.5 Suite.
