Awards categories include retail excellence, supply-side excellence, CPFR (collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment) implementation excellence, empty miles top contributor, sustainability excellence and best third-party provider.

VICS will present the awards to companies, teams or departments with notable achievements in supply chain collaboration at a June 8, 2010, banquet ceremony in San Antonio.

VICS also is accepting nominations for the 2010 Roger Milliken Career Achievement award, which is presented to an individual who has demonstrated leadership through support and utilization of VICS and GS1 standards and standards committee participation. Tom Cole, vice chairman of Macy’s, received the award in 2009.

The deadline for submitting nominations is March 26, 2010.
