Woodridge, IL. – Numina Group, a leading developer of material handling distribution automation products, software and services announced today the release of its newest product, X-Press PAL Print and Apply Labeling System for automating shipping and manifesting operations. It provides a rapid payback with an ROI of 6 to 9 months for facilities with as little as 800 parcels a day.

X-Press PAL™ streamlines labor requirements typically performed at manually operated carrier workstations by using the latest design in-line automation based on modular 24VDC conveyor. The system includes integral barcode scanning, weighing, dimensioning, print and apply labeling and an interface to your existing manifesting system. X-Press PAL™ can label and manifest parcel shipments at up to 14 cartons a minute all within just ten feet of space.

An optional upgrade version, X-Press PAL Plus provides Numina Groups’ exclusive combination pack and ship label that simultaneously prints the shipping label on the top side and the packing slip on the back side of a single label. “This technology saves 35 seconds of labor for every parcel a company ships.” says Dan Hanrahan, president of the Numina Group.

“Prior to the introduction of X-Press PAL™, small to mid-size warehouse and distribution operations had a difficult time justifying shipping and manifesting automation,” continued Mr. Hanrahan. “X-Press PAL™, with its modular design operates either stand alone or easily integrates with packaging technology to automate the complete Pick-Pack and Ship Process.” By combining packing, void fill and an in-line taper, X-Press PAL™ reduces order fulfillment time and errors, leading to additional cost savings.

A Lease to Buy Program is also available to pay for the system through the positive cash savings generated. To inquire or set an appointment for a one day site analysis or to visit Numina Groups’ Technology Center, contact Dan Hanrahan at 630-343-2604 or email to [email protected]
