Ryder acquires 4 G's

Ryder System Inc., a provider of transportation and supply chain management solutions, has acquired 4 G's Truck Renting Co., a privately held local truck leasing company in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The acquisition covers 4 G's fleet of 400 vehicles serving 100 customers. Ryder will serve local customers from its existing facilities in the greater New York area.
