As Bill Graves, ATA president and CEO, notes, “The long-haul truckload segment of our industry is experiencing a current shortfall of approximately 20,000 drivers. Unfortunately, there is no single ‘silver-bullet’ approach that will solve the problem. This issue has been before the industry for quite some time.
