APICS Supply Chain Council has launched its Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) mobile application to provide users with instant, anytime, anywhere access to its supply chain framework.
The SCOR Framework provides organizations with a standard for defining processes and measuring performance. It is hierarchical in nature, interactive and interlinked.
By providing a mobile option for the SCOR model, APICS SCC equips supply chain professionals with access to this supply chain specific process model designed to support communication among supply chain partners while helping to improve the effectiveness of supply chain management and improvement activities.
The SCOR mobile application offers on-demand access to the most popular elements of the SCOR knowledge system, arranged in a highly intuitive fashion that improves the user experience. The app supersedes the printed SCOR Quick Reference Guide.
APICS SCC designed the mobile application to enable users to access the four main areas—process, performance, practices and people—or simply search for a level one or level two definition. It can be used in tandem with SCOR Professional Training, a course designed for individuals interested in implementing SCOR at organizations.
The SCOR mobile application is available for download through iTunes or Google Play for 99 cents with all proceeds going toward APICS student programs. The complete SCOR Framework is only available to APICS SCC affiliates and APICS sponsors.
