This Veterans Day, forklift providers Hyster and Yale renewed their call for veterans of the U.S. armed forces to pursue job opportunities with their dealer networks. Both companies have been working with Snelling Search’s Military Division to recruit these individuals, and since November 2011, Hyster dealers have hired 32 veterans and Yale 29.

“Our veterans are skilled, dedicated, high-character, hard-working individuals, and we want them on our team,” said Jonathan Dawley, president of Hyster Distribution. “We know the value provided by employees who have served in the U.S. military.”

Bill Pfleger, president of Yale Distribution, added: “We are eager to have veterans who have served our country now work with us to serve our customers.”

Snelling Search is matching skill sets to company culture to find a long-term fit for candidates. It has helped fill dozens of positions at several levels throughout both Hyster and Yale’s dealer networks. Many of the newly hired veterans attended the Sales Academy training programs of both companies.

Hyster and Yale are part of NACCO Materials Handling Group, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc.
