Wheel for Abusive, High-Load Environments

Colson Caster Corporation’s Commander HD wheel is designed for abusive applications and environments where high-load requirements and impact resistance are a must. The design protects floors and holds up to corrosive environments. The wheel is constructed of a high impact polymer, Nylatron, and is machined, not injection molded, which provides resilience and impact strength. The wheel features a slightly crowned tread profile, rolls easily and is said to provide better floor protection than other high capacity wheels, such as steel, iron or phenolic. Applications include, die carts, engine hoists, ground support equipment and more.
