SHELTON, Conn.—G-Log, the leading provider of global logistics and transportation software, announced today that Halliburton’s Energy Services Group has selected the G–Log® Global Command and Control Center™ (GC3™) software as a foundation for a new global logistics initiative.

Halliburton’s Energy Services Group offers the world’s broadest array of products, services and integrated solutions for oil and gas exploration, development and production. After rolling out the initial site, the company plans to use the G-Log-powered logistics platform to manage and optimize all shipments to and from its facilities and affiliates worldwide — across all modes and all geographies— within a single system.

While the G-Log platform allows companies to leverage the end-to-end visibility and supply chain event management (SCEM) functionalities, the GC3 software will also help to reduce inventory and cycle times, lower freight costs, and improve service levels through better shipment planning and execution. GC3 will plan, execute, and provide visibility and SCEM processes to keep goods in motion and optimize the flow of materials across a global logistics network.
