Horizon Services Group has launched NetCaptain HazDec, a web-based application to allow shippers to submit dangerous goods declarations via the Internet. It is an online tool designed to reduce the possibility of non-compliance and possible fines associated with regulatory issues.
HazDec captures and communicates critical information required for Dangerous Goods Declaration during the shipping process according to U.S. Department of Transportation and international IMDG requirements. The tool covers both UN and NA number classifications. Hazardous cargo is also checked for any compatibility conflicts at the time of document submission.
