Post Fulfilment Online Maximizes 3PL Warehouse Efficiencies

ATLANTA -- MARC Global, the leading provider of adaptable supply chain execution (SCE) solutions, announced the successful implementation of MARC WMS at Post Fulfilment Online, a subsidiary of Australia Post.

Post Fulfilment Online manages Coles Myer's Internet home shopping business for Coles Online,, Vintage Cellars, LiquorLAND Direct and Coles Online Bulk businesses. Post, using RF technology, picks, packs and distributes dry groceries, chilled groceries, frozen food, meat, cheeses, deli, fresh produce, beer, wine and spirits, and then ships direct to consumers.

Post implemented the MARC WMS in their Sydney facility to improve their warehouse efficiencies and the ability of their facility to fulfil the rapidly increasing volume of consumer orders. The objectives of the implementation were to increase order throughput, as well as inventory and order accuracy, while reducing labor costs.
