MONTREAL, - - TECSYS Inc. (TSX: TCS), a leading Supply Chain Management (SCM) software provider, announced today that it has signed an agreement with Sunpan Imports to implement its PointForce distribution software suite. TECSYS PointForce software will provide Sunpan Imports with an edge in inventory management, automated order management and tighter business processes.

"PointForce will tighten up our business procedures, with information visible and flowing from order to shipping," remarked Sundeep Bagga, owner of Sunpan Imports. "We looked at many other companies in the market, including iCode and Business Vision, but discovered that PointForce offers the critical standard features not available with other software vendors." Bagga continues, "We are experiencing high growth, and I wanted a solution that could be installed today and not have to worry about tomorrow. TECSYS clearly demonstrated real value with its support staff, deep industry knowledge, and commitment to industry changes. It's obvious they are the right choice."

Sunpan sells over 400 home and accessory items to retail chains and independent and specialty retail outlets throughout Canada. Its current software application was not able to handle the 30% to 40% annual growth and properly process the growing number of orders. Add to that the company's expansion into the U.S., and a new solution was needed. After a complete market search, Sunpan selected TECSYS to partner with through the next levels of growth. A critical feature inherent within PointForce will automatically process orders from the tradeshow floor. As for many importers, tradeshows are an opportunity to take orders from the buyers attending the event. This standard capability in PointForce is typically an unsupported modification and an additional cost in many other solutions.

Kevin Tribe, President of TECSYS PointForce Division, stated, "Our PointForce application suite once again demonstrates the company's leadership in the specialty import market. With our industry-leading integrated distribution management applications, we can clearly show a very complete and flexible offering designed specifically for importers. We want to make it as easy as possible for our customers to do business."

PointForce will be implemented at Sunpan's new 40,000-sq.-ft. warehouse in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada.
