COLUMBUS, OHIO, August 10, 2004 - Inoveris, LLC announced today that they have finalized a three-year contract with Encyclopaedia Britannica to provide worldwide e-commerce fulfillment for Encyclopaedia Britannica's online store, store.britannica.com. Inoveris will distribute all products sold on the site including encyclopedias, dictionaries, globes and software worldwide.

The global solution will support expanded fulfillment of online orders worldwide. Orders processed through 10:00 pm will be ready the same day for overnight service. This will significantly shorten delivery times for Encyclopaedia Britannica customers. Additionally, a dedicated customer service team will support the Encyclopaedia Britannica solution to closely manage service levels and customer satisfaction.

The solution implementation involved process design, development and management of more than 132,000 units across 500 different SKUs in a matter of weeks. The consolidated implementation time and online real time visibility from order placement through order receipt has made the transition seamless to Encyclopaedia Britannica customers. Inoveris' web-based tool, Exchange, provides Encyclopaedia Britannica with visibility into every aspect of their supply chain to proactively manage online store demand and provide customers with information about their orders.

Inoveris also handles most of Encyclopaedia Britannica's North American fulfillment, acting as an end-to-end supply chain solution. The North American solution is a one-stop solution including manufacturing the media (CD and DVD), procurement of media materials and packaging, inventory management, fulfillment to consumers, schools and libraries.
